K DAV

This is the radio station K-DAV, famous for being the first radio station to feature Buddy Holly. It's in Lubbock on Buddy Holly Ave, though not called that at the time obviously.

If you go to see Buddy the Musical, the first words you will hear are:-

Hi, I'm High Pockets Duncan, Welcome to the K DAV Sunday Party, coming to you live from the Grand Ol' Bowl, Lubbock Texas!
