BethaBlip 88...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Oops, it's a bit late. I totally forgot about the BethaBlip on the day and then she was away at sleepovers the next couple of nights. Anyway, no harm, the tags sort it out.

Not an awful lot has happened in the last month or so. Things are just chugging along. We had the parents evening just before the end of term and she is doing fine, brilliantly in fact. She's going into the higher reading class her numbers are doing brilliant and she's becoming more confident in class. Apparently there is some sort of daily task thing that people in her class do that they can choose to do after they've finished their assigned work. She's battering through both the standard and extra work and loving it.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it but she did a class talk. They had to choose a castle and do a 3 to 5 minute talk on the subject with props and flash cards. She chose Eileen Donan Castle as it was a MacRae strong hold which is my family clan name and so we had bits of my kilt and the Macrae history to draw on.

This is a mask she made. It looks a bit KKK chiq but is just Bethany turning the bonkers knob up to 11. She use her sewing machine to make this square bagged shape, cut two eye holes, sewed a paper letter B over one eye hole and then drew a face in light colours on the front. Mental.

You can check out the rest of this series and see her progress by entering the words tagged BethaBlip into the Blip Search facility.
