treefrog

Our pickup truck, that our slide-on camper sits on, is parked at the end of our driveway, behind a fence in our backyard most of the time. Lately, husband D has been working on the truck and camper. Twice in the last week, when he's tried to open the front door of the truck (where the handle is a flat rectangle that lifts out of a recessed pocket in the door), this treefrog was hiding in there and squirmed- taking D quite by surprise. The treefrogs tend to hide during the day, and look for small spaces that may hold some moisture, often between leaves of plants...today, after D had to shoo it out again, I was able to catch him on the running board before he disappeared under the truck.
