Working

Such excitement in me ( nearly fell off my crutches ) when I spotted this big Bumbler rootling around in the newly opening Macropetular Clematis. Once I can get out into the world it's off to Wex camera's for a Canon Macro lens. I'm so intrigued by these creatures. In another shot the wee hooks at the end of each leg, I guess that enable them to hang on, are clearly visible. I've not seen that before.

I planted this Clematis 2 Springs ago. This is the first time I've seen it in flower!. You'll get more of these. They have a touch of Flower Fairies about them.
