Frosty Day

The morning was crisp and cold with lovely sunshine. I don't think the temperature rose above zero here all day.

Things warmed up in the shop, sales were good today and I've been very lucky with staffing. I know I will soon be losing one of my great assistants, but, without advertising, someone I've known for a long time turned up willing to help SO did her daughter. They will give me the necessary back-up. One of them came in today and really enjoyed selling jewellery and the other will do a day in on Monday!

A very special thing happened while I was out: my dishwasher arrived! I've never had one before but I'm sure I'm going to love it!
