Remco

After a really fantastic night last night (and thanks to a late late after-party, about 1.5 hours sleep!) today I hopped on the train to The Hague to visit my friend Remco. Remco and I actually only just met about 6 weeks ago, he is a friend of a friend and took a spare ticket I had for a concert in Rotterdam in February. Though we had never met, we hit it off right away, helped by a mutual love of Dutch singer Stef Bos and a similar outlook on life.

Today we had a quick lunch in The Hague (bizarrely, some vegan fish and chips, which was absolutely delicious), then we drove to the Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen. We wandered around there for hours, Remco took photos of some wildlife and I just chilled out enjoying the sunshine, the good company and the beautiful surroundings. Soon the sun was setting, and we watched it go down over the water. Really magical.

A seriously good Indian meal and a few glasses of wine at home rounded off a wonderful day :)
