Another 'Before and After'

Marlane got some dining chairs off ebay, exactly like the ones we already have and snapped them up so we don't have to keep using odd kitchen chairs when we have Sunday dinners.
They were much darker than the 4 we already have but it appears that they ha been given a quick coat of dark varnish. It's scraping and sanding off fairly easily and then followed by a woodstain, wood restorer and wax. This is the result.
On the left is one that had been scraped with wire wool and on the right the same chair finished.
