Raven on Marwick Head

The same bird I have photographed many times before. At least, I think it is. Work and weather had kept me from walks. I got the wee bus up to The Loons reserve and walked to Marwick Head and on to Birsay Palace. From the reserve hide I saw plenty of ducks- single pintail, shoveler, gadwall and lots of mallard, teal, wigeon etc and a pair of little grebe and a few other species.
Here are some other shots.. It was nice to see my first wheatears of the spring and also three redwings on their way north to their summer homes in Scandinavia.
