Route Planning

The Beaver Colony are embarking on the Hikes Away badge in the coming weeks & I am organising a couple of different hikes for them. Bro3, being one of the twenty four strong colony, is an ideal pace setter.
Today we planned & tested a nice, easy 5.5km route through Tentsmuir Forest, it took him 1 hour & 10 minutes plus a juice & snack stop at the 3km mark.
That's just about right for their first mini hike.
His next route to pace set is walking up part of East Lomond, that's a good bit harder and should tire the Beavers out really well & make sure they've earned the badge.
