A Peep Thru the Pinhole

A wartime dugout

Apparently this pair of storage areas was excavated, hewn from a rock face in 1928. They seem to be now used as outside storage areas, but during WW2 were air-raid shelters, the hollows being on the premises of the local air-raid warden. Location: Uckfield, East Sussex.
