Church

Today blip is a slight change of plan , I was hoping to take a shot of the Football Premier League trophy as it was in the city and surrounding area for the day. It was due to be on the local park a few streets away from where we live between 4.00 & 6.00 this evening , armed with camera I was all set to leave work at 5.00 to get down there for about 5.15 only to get a text from my son to say that it was been packed away at 5.00 :(
At least Julie managed to get a blip of it

So Plan C a shot of one of the local churches nestled in between the terraced houses was what I went for. This church is quite a modern church compered to quite a few. Will probably take a shot from the road its on in the future.

All Saints church on Monks Road, Lincoln, is of modern construction in red brick and dates from 1904. The area that it stands in was green fields until the city expanded eastwards, down what was a leafy county lane, to provide housing for workers in the nearby huge engineering works that helped to transform Lincoln from a market center to an industrial city in the 19th and 20th centuries.
