One of the Mountbatten girls was offered some free tickets through her work to a screening of Cuban Fury followed by a Q&A with lead actor Nick Frost. Not wanting to turn things down a few of us headed there after work.

The film was fairly average, but it was worth the experience purely for the reaction of the audience. I thought Americans had been lively at the basketball, but this was a whole new level. I know there's a bit of a disparity in sense of humour between yanks and Brits, but people were cheering and clapping at scenes that weren't remotely funny. I'm not sure I've ever seen people clap in a cinema but tonight people went wild for basically every scene. Americans sure put us to shame in showing their appreciation!
