Speaking of tongues
Built in 1596 in the reign of Elizabeth I, The Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury carries the Royal Coat of Arms supported by the English Lion and the Welsh Dragon.
I am not sure why both the beasts have their tongues out - must be some heraldic convention of which I am completely unaware.
