Michael Next Door

This is our next door neighbour, Michael, forever known as Michael next door. He's one of the most remarkable men I've ever met. Rarely do you meet someone who has built and raced dragsters, motorbikes, flown aircraft, lived on boats, reared his own livestock, built his own car, including sewing the leather seats & forming body panels himself and continues to maintain his "Old Ford", currently being rebuilt after having a new gearbox. He even makes many of the parts for this car himself. And he is one of that rare breed to still own and use an analogue black and white portable TV. It took us a while to figure out how to keep it working but we got there.

As remarkable as all that is, he's just the best neighbour! We have tea together most days, around 4pm, putting the world to right. That's Michael Next Door.
