Walking to the steps

We woke up to bright blue skies today - and no hot water although that was eventually solved and it didn't stop our plans at least. We walked along the coastal path, out of Watergate Bay, through Mawgan Porth and down to Bedruthan Steps which were amazing. It was high tide but we did get down onto a little bit of the beach - and I got very wet feet when trying to capture the waves and the stacks. Lots of shots taken so it has been a difficult blip-decision but this was the only patch of thrift that was open, one of the stacks is visible beyond and maybe even a lighthouse if you look closely enough.

A trip into Newquay this afternoon for a bit of a shop, a look at a Little Fistral beach and out to the Cornish Arms for lovely food. And then a perfect sunset captured on the way home.
