Monkey

Frances has a new monkey. She's had her eye on him every week at monkey music, and she definately, absolutely was not leaving monkey music on Monday without a monkey. I'd never seen her like this before,her feet rooted to the ground and so distraught that we might be leaving without one. On account of her having gone up to the table of monkeys every single lesson I thought we could use some of her birthday money for one. She was over the moon and incredibly proud and happy to have her new friend. She chatted to him all the way home and he hasn't left her side since. What I didn't count on was child number 2's reaction on seeing that Frances had a new monkey. It really didn't go down well at all.
