An der Rhein

A busy day yesterday finished with a walk from the hotel down to the Altstadt and the Rhine. The walk was good, and caught different aspects of Dusseldorf, from the charm of the old town and the opulence of Konigsallee, to the homeless guys and seedy cinemas around the central station.

It had been a very changeable day, very wet and windy at times, but the evening was very fine.
