Long day navigating the idiosyncrasies of our telco's customer service department. This morning's appointment for a simple upgrade of our Internet and telephone service was turned into a supreme farce by their dispatcher's inability to schedule said appointment and then share identical information with the customer (me) and the installer.

Once I was permitted to actually speak to the installer we were able to agree on a new time - Friday morning. In the meantime the lights of the Internet remain dim...
