Stratford's under-belly

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments on my 500th Blip yesterday.

I had to take my car into Stratford-upon-Avon this morning for a service. I took the opportunity to take my camera into town while I was waiting and on the way back I walked via a bit of canal path I had never previously explored.

When I found this underpass I was taken by the grungy appearance, textures and colours. The lighting was also quite interesting and gave it a natural vignetting effect.

I thought this was a side of Stratford not normally seen by the tourist hoardes who photograph themselves outside the Bard's birthplace every day.

I apologise in advance to 'My Dartmoor Walks' who didn't like my Graffiti shot recently :-)
