Mrs Ladybird

This is the first ladybird we've seen this spring in the garden this afternoon and it was a beauty :-) I love the way the light is reflecting off its little wings. Such beautiful vibrant colours, nature is really very clever.

C enjoyed letting it run over his hand tickling him, the garden got mowed and we sat in the late afternoon sun for a bit too :-) well, I sat - C ran about gathering stones, riding his pirate ship & generally whooping about as 2 year olds do best!
