Desperate Business.

This is front brake disc of my Volvo S80.

On Tuesday while in a main Volvo dealer for its annual service, I received a call saying workshop has reported corroded front discs and the cost to replace including pads would be £440. My reply was no, don't do it.

10 minutes later dealer receptionist called back to say they would now do the job for £390. Again my answer was no.

The car was later collected the same day and not only had it passed it's MOT but the service record had no issues whatsoever.

This morning I had the brakes checked by another engineer, the picture is what he found when he removed wheel to inspect.

Poor reflection on big brand.
