Majestic

In Boston for a few days. The weather is glorious today, bright blue skies, sunshine, and balmy temperatures. Walking on Boston Common and in the Public Garden was so lovely this morning. The tulips are all getting ready to put on a show, there are pansies and crocuses in bloom, the ducks are conducting their courtships on the pond, and lots of people are out enjoying a long-awaited Spring.

This is the majestic bronze equestrian statue of George Washington in the Public Garden. It was sculpted by Thomas Bell in 1864. I think he did a very good job.
