Sticking His Beak In . . .

Where It's Not Wanted.

This drake mallard had been used to patiently waiting around beneath this willow tree praying to has deity 'Anas' and duly receiving manna from heaven in the form of peanut crumbs.

Sir Francis was not your usual quacker. As a calculating thinker, he was having none of that baloney about food from the 'gods'. If the crumbs came from above then the source was somewhere 'up there' and he was determined to seek it out and claim the mother-lode for himself. By cutting out the middle-men (the tits) he cold dislodge whole nuts rather than just small pieces and thus enjoy a veritable feast.

Maybe he'll choke on one.
