Redshank in the sun

The wetland centre today was teeming with life today. Mostly screaming children and pushchairs - an Easter holiday invasion that the residents seem to be blissfully unconcerned about for the most part. The little Grebes were trilling, the Cettis were warbling, the Reedies were chirruping. They just stay comfortably out of reach and out of sight.

On an island in amongst the Lapwings, gulls and crows were a couple of Redshanks, looking quite fine in the sun.
