Newton House

Visited the Dinefwr estate near Llandeilo today . Walked one and a half miles up steep fields and woodlands to reach the 12th century castle then down the other side to Newton House on the estate which is a very well presented "hands on" experience of life in a large house c1912. Upstairs and Downstairs ! Took many photos today but this is the only one showing blue sky ! These turrets - very French looking- were replaced by lightweight ones last century. As the originals were bringing the roof down !
Coffee and cake in Llandeilo where the houses are painted in a multitude of colours, then back to Myddfai to collect the parents and the long drive (for Mr H) home. Nice few days away.
