Moments that Matter

Alness, High St

Today I went through to see my Granny and wee cousins - had a busy day with appointments too.
A, G and the kids are flitting this Friday so they were having a massive clear out and cane across Granny and Papas old photo box so it was a great laugh having a look through the photos - nostalgic and funny to see Elz and Eth laughing away at J and myself when we were wee totz.
The above was taken by Papa by a disposable camera of the high street and I love the way the lights rebound and add great colour. It's a capturing picture.
Later went to see A and G new house, it's beautiful. Lovely seeing a house minimal and all the possibilities with a blank canvas, a fresh start. Hope the kids settle in well, which im sure they will as it looks like a friendly area. Fingers crossed and best wishes to them :-) it's very exciting. Hope granny copes well with them flitting a wee bit further away - will have to visit Gran more to keep her company.
Later Granny treated us to a lovely dinner at Castle St Restaurant - such a nice wee homely foody place. Was a great day!!
Went to the Mallard at night and won our FIRST EVER pub quiz - it was an excellent laugh and everyone was in perfect form, was a lovely catch up. We were a proud, buzzing bunch afterwards. Great day had!!!
