The taddies have escaped

All the hard work done by the frogs a couple of weeks ago has paid off. The taddies hatched a few days ago but stayed near to their jelly. Today most of them have made a bid for freedom in the rest of the pond and are apparently sunbathing along the edges. Sadly only about 1 in 2000 survive to froghood.


One of my blipmates blipped their little tadpole pond last year. I was so taken with the idea that I was going to make one myself but never got round to it. If it was you could you let me know so I can have another look and get my act in gear for next year. Thanks
