Secrets and spies

Busy day! Lovely morning with the relatives setting up S's work placement for the autumn then a cafe stop where I tried out this 'Apple bomb'...apple, cinnamon and custard in crisp pastry she'll with a chocolate stalk...absolutely scrumptious! Then nipped into the office to do some catching up and preparations for the next week which looks horrendous.
The evening was great-took young A. to see a talk by Dame Stella Rimington about her life in MI5 - spy fiction and fact. Fascinating stuff, and the dinner after with her and other authors was fun ...(would have loved to take a photo but refrained...although I did tell them about Blipfoto!) we should have an annual spy fiction festival I think :)
