More than Just Cake

Date night with our four year old. My husband and I had the pleasure of going on a date with our four year old....something she's never been able to do without her one year old brother in tow (babysitters are few and far between). Christmas light viewing, cups of steaming hot cocoa, potty stop along the way, gourmet cake shop....I can't describe the feeling it gave me when I saw the excitement in her eyes and heard the emotion in her voice when she said, "I like this date." What a treat and special night we had.
