Songbird in silhouette

No idea what sort of bird this is, but it was singing its heart out this evening as it sat atop the big, old apple tree next door.

Mr M went fishing today, and I was rather hoping for a trout for tea. He caught a couple, but "put them back in" that's his story anyway....
