Don't Cut the Grass

The Daisies and Dandelions are carpeting the grassy areas around Schull at the moment and providing food for butterflies that have made it through the winter, this Peacock butterfly was looking a bit tatty but was enjoying a feast in the sunshine. I've never understood why people kill wild plants in their lawns, they look so beautiful as well as being useful.
