Malta Day 2: Bag of Herons

This is not unusual.

This morning seeing turtle doves being hunted, (1102 shots counted this morning); this afternoon walking through a woodland. Flipping over stones, found a bag of 6 heron corpses stuffed in a plastic bag and hidden from view.

We've combed these woods before, and found lots of things before. Hard to believe that we missed these. Probably these are a couple of years old.

They are a protected species.
