Monster burger

A hard earned reward after a day of house hunting.

We spent most of today with the wife's friend who is a real estate broker on the side looking at potential places/areas to buy next year.

Looked at 5-6 houses all over San Diego county. There is no way we can afford to live in the area we rent now. Further north and east is more affordable. We want a small yard for the dog and at least 2 beds with room for our office and potential kids in the future.

Looking around the Carlsbad/San marcos area and found a couple of good options. However the house market is crazy right now with houses selling within days so it was just a recon mission to get a feel for what/where we like and what's in our price range. We will get more serious after the wedding in August. Better make my bonuses then!

The burger was at anny's fine burgers in Kearny Mesa. Didn't look much for the outside but our realtor friend said it was "the bomb" and he wasn't wrong.

After neglecting babe all day we took her to the dog park to hunt for gophers before heading over to a friends house which they just moved into (with big back yard) in santee within our price range. Only problem is the commute as only one way in/out which gets snarled during rush hour.

Looking forward to the Liverpool vs city game tomorrow.
