Inside a lift...

I was in the most amazing building today. Built in 1875, Edinburgh new town, just up from Dean village. Was originally a large town house, then converted into flats in the 1930's. That's when this lift was installed. It's very American... but I only say that coz I've only ever seen lifts like this on old 1930's American movies. Amazing fun. And a very comfortable ride!!! I hope to be back.
