St Ninians

Another windy day but not as bad as yesterday. A sunny start to the day and then in the afternoon it clouded over and rain has come in.

A fairly lazy start to the day with a bacon and egg roll to get me going :)
I got a few things in the garden done, move the bird feeder as not wanting to encourage those pesky mice and then headed out for a run in the car. I ended up at St Ninians tombola for a walk with Sammy dog and then we headed to South Voe for a walk but the rain started and headed back home for a cup of tea.
Think a Chinese take away for tea tonight before I work in the pub later.

St Ninians tombola and isle is a must see is you are ever visiting Shetland. The beach has the Atlantic Ocean on both sides but a bit chilly at this time of year for dip :) You can walk across the tombola and there's an old chapel on the St Ninians Isle where treasure was found and buried over 1000 years ago.
