Roseberry Topping

Holiday day 2.
Up early to get to Stewart Park, Middlesborough, for parkrun which was a good course and a nice courtyard café after.
Parkrun started outside the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum so we then went round that (to be recommended) before going "next door" to Ormesby Hall. We were too early for the main house but there was a good model railway exhibition in the back parts and by the time we'd been round that and had lunch we decided not to visit the house but go for a walk.
Our book had a fairly short one from ||Great Ayton to the Capt Cook monument and on to Roseberry Topping - but it didn't say how steep the initial climb was! We made it round though the views were disappointing as it was very hazy, and I thought this one looked better in B&W as it emphasises the shapes.
