Life with The Pinks

Goldie

This is Goldie. An unexpected new addition to our family. Goldie Pink was rescued from Clacton pier, where two young boys had won the fish and decided they didn't want it. They offered it to the mini pinks who at the time were with Grandma; grandma made the decision to bring the fish home rather than let it face the North Sea alone. Unfortunately we didn't have a spare fish tank knocking about, so very temporarily, Goldie is living in grandma's mixing bowl! Tomorrow we'll need to find it a more permanent abode. The mini pinks of course are thrilled to have their own pet at last!

In other news, the mini pinks enjoyed their sleepover at Grandma's. Master Pink helped uncle Pink sort coins. Mr Pink and I had a rare lay in after our night out. Mr Pink hasn't felt hungovertoo well all day.
Miss Pink had a birthday to go this afternoon for two of her classmates. Her friends had "magic Olly" at their party. He's very good and very funny. I think my sense of humour is pitched at 5 year old level these days!!
And Hammy went home to her owners, leaving Easter eggs for the mini pinks as she went; what a kind hamster!
