Break in the Clouds

This morning, for one bright, beautiful moment, the sun shone through a gap in the clouds, beaming a band of golden light onto the poplars and part of the hills. By the time I got my camera it was gone. Later I was more successful in capturing another fleeting moment when Castle Hill Peak was almost visible. Last time I saw the mountains they were completely free of snow.

Still working frantically to upgrade the images in my journal, and will be at it for days to come.
