Water Vole

A busy weekend, yesterday we walked along the Monsal Trail and had fun taking long exposure images in the old railway tunnels (see yesterdays blip).

We also walked along part of the river wye, where we spotted a water vole on the river bank but it had stated to rain and the light was very poor so I didn't take any images, we just enjoyed watching it for a while.

So we rearranged our plans for today and returned to the river this afternoon in the hope of seeing the water vole again.

As you can see I had better luck this time and managed to get a half decent image.
