Still

14.0C with long bright spells. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. As we walked down the field with the bridle path we could see a few vehicles dotted along the part of the shore road that is closed this week. The resurfacing is under way.

Fortunately we had no difficulty crossing the road to reach the cycle path that leads along to the gate and from there to the level crossing and the beach.

Down on the beach we walked along towards the fishermen's huts. I had seen a boat in the water from the road up by the church early this morning but there were none moored in the channel through the rocks. We saw a few dog walkers today.

As you can see the sea was calm enough for Maeve to venture in and have a paddle. She likes to walk along parallel to me as I wander along the shoreline. She also likes to stand still. That can make it easier to get a blip.

Later there was mowing. Back lawns. A little strimming too.
