Edinburgh Castle sits prominently atop Edinburgh Rock.

This was the view from Aberdour, Fife this afternoon.

Some days, like this, Edinburgh Castle clearly stands out from its background. Other days it merges into the background and on yet others, Edinburgh cannot be seen at all.
