Celandine and dandelion

There is a little patch of ground next to the Ararat Church on Whitchurch Common that is like a tiny patch of natural woodland. It is currently a carpet of celandine and dandelion with a few daffodils still in bloom. The afternoon dappled sunlight made a delightful display.
