Coltsfoot

Holiday day 8.
Had to leave today and got away quite early as wanted to have time for a short walk before heading over to Keswick to visit my mum.
Having done most of the upland part of the Rosedale Railway we decided to do the lowland part and visit the incline. This was where the railway ran steeply off the moor and descended about 650ft and as about 4 laden wagons were lowered down the rails they pulled up empty ones. We got to the bottom but were too lazy didn't have time to walk up.
On either side of the old track were numerous coltsfoot and it was a blip of them or the moors' northern escarpment (it wasn't really possible to get a decent pic of the incline itself).
