Seattle Big Wheel

Friday night we drove into Seattle to celebrate Pat's 19th birthday. We had hoped to take him to see a movie but he nixed that. We then came up with the idea to ride the Great Wheel on the Seattle waterfront. I regretted not taking my "big" camera but was so glad I had grabbed the pocket camera on the way out the door.

Pat, who starts flying lessons next week, was a bit nervous in the Big Wheel. Go figure.

It was a beautiful way to get a view of Seattle and the Sound. I know of a couple of men who "popped the question" and got engaged on the Wheel.
