Tuol Sleng #2

Second time visiting Tuol Sleng, the former secondary school used as a torture centre and prison by the Khmer Rouge. Good old Timothy Coburn is visiting Cambodia so we thought it would be a useful place for him to learn about an important chapter in the country's history.

As hard-hitting and harrowing as the first time I went a few years ago. It's hard to believe how misguided the Khmer Rouge leaders were as they tried to transform Cambodia into a purely agrarian society. It just led to mass starvation, disease, torture, killing and collapse.
