Bothwell Castle

Had a free afternoon and, since the weather was fine, it was either gardening or sight-seeing. I chose the latter!

Got my Historic Scotland handbook out and decided to visit Bothwell Castle, somewhere I don't recall having visited any time recently. Spent some time wandering round the castle ruins, then out onto the Clyde Walkway. A very pleasant afternoon indeed. Took lots of photos and pretended not to notice the state of my garden when I returned.
