Achmelvich Bay

Another sunny day in Assynt. We walked from Lochinver to Achmelvich Bay today. This shot is of the small beach next to the more popular Achmelvich beach.

Mr Lindiloo, our niece E and I walked, the rest drove and met us at lunch time as there was studying to be done. I could get used to this, lunch was cooking on the stove when we arrived! E, decided to go back by car so we were on our own for most of the walk until E and A walked back to meet us after they had dropped the other 2.

We had a fantastic day, clocked up around 12 miles and saw loads of seals, a massive pig, herons, a buzzard and a very photogenic chicken to finish off!

Dinner was cooking by the time we got back......as I said, I could get used to this!
