Stork and swallow

The morning was quite nice and sunny. Of course it is lunchtime, so the clouds have decided to come in and flatten the light.

This is the west end of Inverleith Pond, an area specially maintained as wetland. I caught this stork just after it had caught something and it is in the process of swallowing something. I am not sure what as its head was obscured by the long stalks of something, I should pay more attention to the information boards.

I am off back to the office to finish off some work before the long weekend. For one week only, Wednesday is the new Friday.
