Stornoway Herring Girl

This statue by Charles Engebretsen & Ginny Hutchison sits on the North Beach Quay in Stornoway and was placed there in 2003 by the Stornoway Amenity Trust "in recognition of all the Herring Girls who laboured here during the late 19th and early 20th century" according to the slightly worn plaque.
