This is an emergency blip tonight.

It has been a long day, but our plane eventually left Nelson airport and after lots of turbulence over Nelson and the Bay, we landed safely in Wellington.

Our daughter and two grandchildren were waiting for us in the terminal.

A special treat later this afternoon was watching my four year old granddaughter’s ballet class. They were delightful in their pink leotards, tights and layered skirts.

It hasn’t stopped raining all day and it continues tonight. With the fire lit we are cosy and warm.
